Overview
The Fudgy Affair is a Sri Lankan artisan bakery known for their rich, handcrafted desserts and baked goods. With a growing loyal customer base, they needed a professional online store to expand their reach beyond walk-in customers and social media orders.
Their goal was to create a visually appealing and easy-to-use platform that reflected the warmth and craftsmanship of their brand while making it effortless for customers to browse, order, and checkout.
Problem
The Fudgy Affair was relying solely on social media DMs and phone calls to take orders, which was time-consuming and often led to missed or incorrect orders. There was no centralized system for managing products, pricing, or customer inquiries.
Without a dedicated website, they also lacked credibility as a growing brand. Customers had no easy way to view the full product catalog, check availability, or place orders at their convenience — especially outside business hours.
Solution
We designed and developed a fully functional e-commerce website for The Fudgy Affair, complete with a beautifully crafted product catalog, category filtering, and a streamlined checkout process. The design used warm tones and playful typography to reflect the brand's personality.
The platform allows customers to browse all products, add items to cart, and place orders directly — eliminating the need for manual order taking. An admin panel enables the team to manage inventory, update products, and track orders with ease.
